The International Conference on “The Chinese Models of Development: Domestic and Global Aspects” invites scholars from the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Japan, and Taiwan to jointly discuss theoretical and policy implications of the Chinese Model(s) of development. The conference is organized into five dimensions: (1) The Chinese models in theoretical and comparative aspects; (2) The Chinese models and paradigms of development studies; (3) Local dynamics of development in China; (4) The Chinese state and models of external relations; (5) China and global governance. IPSAS intends to play a leading role in the advancement of international study of Chinese development models, and in the formation of a tighter network with the academic institutes overseas.
