This international conference, “Governance with Chinese Characteristics: Is State Still in Charge?” shall discuss the following three topics: “urban grassroots governance,” “public policy governance,” and “industrial policy governance.” In each panel, we shall have one scholar respectively from Mainland China, overseas, and Taiwan to read a paper. This form of discussion aims to facilitate the exchange of views from different academic communities, through which we may together depict the trajectory of the transition of Chinese politics from various governance patterns and experiences.
