This year marks the 20th anniversary of the “Institute for Political Methodology” (IPM). We cordially invite everyone to join us in celebrating this milestone by participating in our conference.
IPM was founded by domestic and foreign political scholars in 2001, aiming to increase the interest of Chinese graduate students in empirical research and to train the next generation of methodological research talents. The first Metrology Camp was planned by Professor Chi ang, Professor Emerson and Professor Ji-wen Lin, and held a five-day intensive course in the summer vacation of 2001. During the camp period, the current two-and-a-half weeks will be gradually expanded, and the scope of enrollment will be expanded from political science to other disciplines in the field of social sciences starting in 2023.
We invite current faculty members from domestic and international universities (past participants of IPM), to present their research. They will not only share their ongoing research projects but also engage in interactive discussions and exchanges with other attendees.
