The workshop on “Authoritarian Political Economy” invites scholars from the United State and Taiwan to jointly discuss key issues of comparative authoritarianism, including transparency, economic growth, trade agreement, labor protests, and media freedom. The IPSAS intends to play a leading role in facilitating the development of the research community on authoritarianism in Taiwan, and in linking it to international ones.
