The international conference “Institutional Centralization: The Bureaucracy and its Operation in Xi Jinping′s China” brings together scholars from Japan, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, India, the United States, and Taiwan to jointly explore the phenomenon of institutional centralization in China under Xi Jinping′s leadership, as well as to exchange insights on the processes and impacts of its bureaucratic operations. The conference will focus on in-depth analyses of key topics during the Xi Jinping era, including social stability maintenance (weiwen), disciplinary inspection, united front work, party building, foreign affairs, and other related issues.
