The workshop on “Democratic Representation in Comparative Perspectives” invites several young scholars from Germany, Ireland, Japan, and United States to discuss various topics related to democratic representation. The workshop includes three panels: (1) Party Competition and its Electoral Consequences, (2) New Challenges to Democracy, and (3) New Looks into Elite Behavior.
